When the battlefields of World War II fell silent almost six decades ago, more than 78,000 young Americans were left behind in underwater tombs, shallow graves, and rusting wrecks, thousands of miles from their homes and their families.

Leave No One Behind is an international documentary series about the remarkable individuals who refuse to give up the search for those brave Americans who were left behind. 

German, French, American, and Scottish, the Searchers come from all over the world, and all walks of life, with little in common except for the passion and determination to find the lost men and their stories, buried beneath six decades of history.

From spectacular undersea dives beneath the Mediterranean, to dramatic treks across the European Alps and Papua New Guinea, we will capture the human experience as we follow these Searchers, and explore the passion that drives them, often to desperate measures, to recover the remains of lost American heroes.
